It's been so long!

Hey anyone who still reads my never updated blog! It's been a year now since I had Grade and I finally have a little time to blog. I must admit that I have been facebooking a bit to keep in touch with my Australian friends and family, I send pictures and video's through there, it's so much easier than email.
I have been living here in the USA now for just over 2 years and don't have the American accent.
It's been great watching Grace grow into a toddler and Brianna is 13 years old! I can't believe how time just flies when you have children, it's great to watch them grow, although the pre teen and teenage years are a challenge! Keeping the message of purity in today's world is so difficult, but as I was thinking about it today I know it's impossible to keep yourself pure, unless it's with God's help and his strength.
I'm starting a veggie garden, so that's going to be great. We do have rabbits though but I don't care, I love them, they are cute.
That's about all I have time for, I need some relaxing, me time to just sit here and rest while Grace is napping.
God bless

My blogging break

As you may have noticed, I have not been blogging since baby arrived! Being a mother to Grace has taken up a lot of my time. I do miss reading your blogs and receiving your comments on mine here, but for now I will continue with my break, until things get a little less hectic. I will be visiting your blogs from time to time and hopefully will find time for a post here and there. Have a lovely thanksgiving and Christmas season.
Here are some pictures of my girls...

Incestual relationship

This story makes my skin crawl!! A father and daughter in a relationship, with children.
Where do people set their boundaries? These two people have crossed a terrible line.
Here is the link

So what do you think about this?

little update

Just a little update, yes I am still pregnant! My due date is the 17th of April, it's going by so quickly. I haven't been blogging obviously but I do try, but sitting near the computer for too long can really be uncomfortable at this "bigger" stage of my pregnancy.
Spring is in the air, so I have been trying to get outside more, it's been so nice to open the windows and let real fresh air come into the house. I have seen just about all the snow I want to see for a while.
I had a meaningful lent and a wonderful Easter, ate too many chocolates but they were soooo good.
We spent Spring break visiting family, it was so good to get away, I get sick of the same place after a while.
The ladies at my in laws Church threw a wonderful baby shower for me (or for my baby really) it was awesome, the gifts were so cute. In case you don't know, when we had the ultra sound we found out that our baby is a girl, so many of the gifts were cute little dresses etc.
I had my OB appointment yesterday and the doctor will give me until Monday the 14th to go into labor, or she'll make an appointment for the labor to be induced, she doesn't want me to go past the due date, I am not sure why but I suspect it's because maybe the baby will just keep on growing, I am a small person so perhaps that's why. So the next time I update I guess that it will be news that our baby is here (God willing).
Now it's time to go and enjoy this warm weather. I'll update asap!! I will also visit your blogs, I promise!!!
Here is a picture of the cake that the ladies bought me for the baby shower, I think it's so cute:

Remote Area Medical

I saw this on 60 minutes last night Remote Area Medical it was first started for medical help in the Amazon, now they also help out in the USA.
The health care system here in the USA is just terrible, and I have even thought the insurance we have personally, is expensive and the deductibles are way too high.

They also are in need of Physicians, dentists, optometrists, vetirinarians etc to join their team. So if you think that you can help and are looking for something to do that could help a lot of desperate people, this might be fore you.

30 Weeks!

Today I am 30 weeks into my pregnancy, I feel like I have been pregnant forever, but then again, time is going by so fast, I am in nooooo hurry either. I am sick of getting all these blood tests etc every time I visit my OB/GYN and wonder how necessary they all are. I know that some are very important to do but it just seems that there are so many. They test you for HIV and all these STD's when you first get there, and then they do it again later, I know that I don't have anything like that so it all seems pointless. I went for a glucose test which read that I had high blood sugar (I ate lots of cookies that week, no one told me that I wasn't supposed to) only to go back for a 3 hour glucose test and find out that my blood is normal (apart from low iron but I knew that already).
It's expensive you know! We have health insurance but the health care system here sucks.
I think that now the doc's want me to go in every 2 weeks or something, that's alot! I don't remember going in that often when I had my first daughter, nor do I remember all these tests.
Well that's my complaint for the day. Also, just so you know, I am very thankful to be healthy and that our baby is healthy.
